Overview
ResiFile was built to help managers of low-income housing projects process and qualify applicants more efficiently. Instead of manually reviewing documents and juggling paperwork, property managers needed a streamlined system to handle complex applicant data and generate required documents.
The Build
We developed ResiFile using Bubble as the core platform, with integrations for both document generation and document processing:
Custom document workflows supporting over 15+ document types commonly required in housing applications.
Ocrolus integration to process and verify more than 20 different document types (e.g., income statements, affidavits, support documents).
DocSpring integration to generate 5+ custom documents automatically, reducing manual data entry and errors.
Application dashboard where managers could view, filter, and manage applicant status in real time.
From Manual to Automated
Before ResiFile, housing managers relied heavily on paper-based workflows and spreadsheets, which slowed down approvals and increased errors. With the new system, managers could upload, process, and generate all necessary documents in a single platform, ensuring compliance and speed.
The Outcome
ResiFile transformed the applicant qualification process for low-income housing projects. Managers could now handle applications at scale, reduce approval time, and focus more on serving residents rather than paperwork.
